Pacific Yachting
& Sailing is continually
seeking current boat owners and future owners that are interested
in placing their new or late model sailing yacht into our
charter fleet. The concept of owning a boat and having it earn
it's keep is quite justifiable. Please see testimonal below. 1. We can help save you money on the
purchase of your boat because
of our relationship with certain dealers on the West Coast. We
can also help you in selecting what type of boat would suit your
particular sailing needs. Listed are
the responsibilities of Pacific Owner:
Pacific
Yachting & Sailing: 1. Provides a slip in the Santa Cruz Harbor, unless owner has their own.
(Note: Pacific Yachting staff spends an insurmountable amount of time arranging sub-contractors, ordering parts, and overseeing all maintenance done on all of the fleet at no charge to the boat owner.)
It is very important that the
boat owner understand charter placement. We encourage boat owners
to use their boats often. However, Pacific Yachting is committed
to charter all boats in the Pacific Yachting slips 50 or more
times per year. This is one of the Santa Cruz Port District requirements
pertaining to public use of the slips Pacific Yachting wants to
present a professional image to our customers. Having well maintained,
clean, excellent working vessels will reflect this. Thus, customers
will return and spend more money if they are pleased with our
operation. Please don't hesitate to call
us at 831-423-7245 / (800-374-2626) or e-mail at sail@cruzio.com
and we can discuss all of the Testimonial: I have a Catalina 320 that was in Marc Kraft's program at Pacific Yachting and Sailing since I purchased it new in March of 1998. I moved it out the of the program in March of this year because I wanted it to be closer to my home in Berkeley. I was extremely satisfied with the program at Pacific Yachting & Sailing. I don't have the exact records with me just at this moment, but my recollection is that I received about $8,500 in revenue per year in the Pacific program. The cost of insurance was about $1,100 per year. Slip fees are about $223. per month, with an extra $35. or so for electrical hook up. The guys at
Pacific Yachting took excellent care of the boat - somewhat better
than the similar program I am currently in with OCSC in Berkeley.
For me, the Pacific program was perfect because I used the boat Best Regards, Yacht Brokers-New Boats- O'neill Yachts- Ray Pingree & Chip Bem- Purchase a new Catalina.
